In response to escalating ingredient prices, Burger King has introduced budget-friendly meal combinations to attract cost-conscious customers. The fast-food chain's new $5 Duos and $7 Trios allow diners to select two or three items from a limited menu, including the Whopper Junior, Original Chicken Sandwich, bacon cheeseburger, medium fries, eight-piece Chicken Fries, and a medium soft drink. These promotions are available nationwide (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories) until spring.
A Burger King representative emphasized the company's commitment to providing affordable, quality meals, particularly during a time when consumers are seeking value. The deals are designed to offer flexibility and customization at a reasonable price point.
Beyond the combo meals, Burger King is also running limited-time promotions for its Royal Perks members. From January 27th to February 2nd, members can purchase a cheeseburger for $1 through the Burger King app. Additionally, to celebrate National Croissant Day on January 30th, Royal Perks members can snag a Croissan'wich for just one cent with any purchase of $1 or more.
These initiatives coincide with Burger King's recent acquisition of its largest U.S. franchisee, Carrols Restaurant Group, for $1 billion. This strategic move is part of the company's "Reclaim the Flame" plan, which aims to revitalize the brand, modernize restaurants, and appeal to a younger demographic.
