A late Monday night shooting in Times Square left two men injured, and the suspect remains on the loose. The New York City Police Department responded to the incident around 11:50 p.m. near the intersection of 7th Avenue and West 41st Street.

Both victims sustained gunshot wounds to the thigh and were transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. While initial reports suggested they were teenagers, their precise ages haven't been officially confirmed.

The suspect, described as a Black male dressed entirely in black and carrying a brown backpack, fled eastward on 41st Street following the shooting. Authorities are actively searching for him.

Police recovered ballistic evidence at the scene, and a portion of 41st Street remains closed as the investigation continues.
