A Daphne, Alabama couple faces serious charges after their two-year-old daughter was discovered alone, dehydrated, and positive for cocaine. On Saturday evening, a concerned neighbor contacted police after finding the unclothed toddler unattended near the entrance of an apartment building. Responding officers determined the child was suffering from dehydration and overheating, and transported her to a local hospital. Medical tests revealed the presence of cocaine in the child's system.

Parents Hannah Straszheim and Tyler Still were subsequently arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including possession of a controlled substance and chemical endangerment of a child. They also face misdemeanor charges for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A search warrant executed at the couple's apartment uncovered a disturbing scene. Authorities found over 100 Oxycontin pills, cocaine, and various drug paraphernalia, all within easy reach of the child. Three semi-automatic handguns were also discovered in the residence.

Straszheim and Still were booked into the Baldwin County Corrections facility with a bond set at $25,500 each. The Alabama Department of Human Resources is currently overseeing the care and placement of the two-year-old girl.
The Daphne Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office are conducting a joint investigation into the incident.
