Reality TV personality Brandi Glanville has opened up about a challenging medical journey, revealing the significant financial and emotional toll of a mysterious ailment affecting her face. She's spent tens of thousands of dollars seeking a diagnosis for what some doctors suspect might be a parasite.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Glanville detailed the extensive and expensive medical testing she's undergone, including six weeks of daily IV antibiotics costing $12,000 and lab work totaling $10,000. She estimates her overall expenses to exceed $70,000, encompassing consultations with various specialists, from immunologists and infectious disease experts to rheumatologists and ENTs.

Despite these efforts, Glanville remains without a definitive diagnosis. She described her symptoms as initially involving facial swelling, followed by the skin sinking in. She also mentioned a peculiar sensation of the ailment moving from one side of her face to the other. The uncertainty surrounding her condition has led to significant stress and limited her social interactions.

Glanville's recent social media posts about her health struggles sparked concern among fans. She responded to inquiries, reiterating the diagnostic ambiguity and suggesting a possible link to a trip to Morocco, where she filmed an unaired season of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip." She recounted consuming food, including meat left out for extended periods, and noted that her symptoms began approximately six months after her return.
The Morocco trip was also the setting for allegations of sexual assault against Glanville by co-star Caroline Manzo, which resulted in a lawsuit against Bravo and the shelving of the season. Glanville believes the incident and its aftermath have contributed to her stress levels.

While Glanville acknowledges the possibility of future surgery, she expressed a strong desire for a concrete diagnosis, whether it be a parasite, tumor, or another condition. She longs for answers to better understand and manage her health.
