Following an illustrious 23-season NFL career, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is sharing his invaluable experience with the next generation of quarterbacks. Recently, he imparted wisdom to Carolina Panthers' first overall draft pick, Bryce Young.
Young, the 21-year-old former Alabama Crimson Tide star, revealed a key takeaway from his meeting with Brady: a grounded perspective on his NFL entry. "I haven't thrown a single NFL pass in a game," Young acknowledged. "I have zero stats, no victories, nothing. We all start on equal footing. Being the top draft pick doesn't guarantee me anything."

Young emphasized his commitment to continuous improvement. "I have to put in the work," the Panthers rookie stated. "My focus is on getting better every single day, consistently striving for improvement."
Brady also offered guidance to other rookie quarterbacks, including C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis, during a Fanatics-hosted lunch. Brady's own NFL journey began as a sixth-round draft pick by the New England Patriots, a testament to his hard work and dedication.

Young expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to learn from Brady. "His insights, particularly his reflections on his early years in the league, were incredibly valuable," Young shared. "To speak with a legend like Tom Brady, considering his incredible success and career, is truly meaningful."

Young further elaborated on Brady's advice, highlighting the quarterback's willingness to share lessons learned throughout his career. "He generously shared his experiences from his younger years, what worked for him, and the things he learned later on, encouraging us to accelerate our own development," Young explained.
