Created: JANUARY 25, 2025

A group of Chilean nationals accused of burglarizing the homes of several professional athletes, including NFL stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Joe Burrow, reportedly added NBA player Ja Morant to their list of victims. While the Memphis Grizzlies have not officially commented, reports indicate Morant is the unnamed "Professional Athlete 6" mentioned in the legal complaint.

The burglars, identified as members of a South American Theft Group (SATG), allegedly stole approximately $1 million worth of jewelry, watches, and luxury bags from Morant's residence on December 19, 2024, following a Grizzlies victory over the Golden State Warriors. The group is also suspected of targeting the homes of Bobby Portis and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.

The criminal complaint, unsealed on Tuesday, alleges the group has been targeting NFL and NBA players since October 2024, breaking into their homes while they were away for games.
