Former Fox News host Pete Hegseth's nomination for Defense Secretary faced scrutiny during a hearing where he addressed allegations of misconduct.

John Curtis (R-UT) indicated his support for Hegseth but voiced concerns about former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's nomination for Director of National Intelligence. Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) also expressed support for Hegseth after initially signaling concerns.
