A Friday night National Lacrosse League game between the Toronto Rock and the Buffalo Bandits turned into a full-blown brawl when Rock defender Elijah Gash and Bandits defender Zack Belter dropped the gloves and traded punches in the third quarter. The altercation was sparked by a hard hit from Gash, prompting Belter to retaliate. Gash, son of former NFL fullback and Super Bowl champion Sam Gash, quickly gained the upper hand, landing a powerful right that sent Belter to the floor.

Despite the heated exchange and Toronto's lead at the time of the fight, the Bandits ultimately emerged victorious with a 15-13 win, improving their record to 4-0 while the Rock fell to 0-5. Buffalo’s Dhane Smith commented on the win, emphasizing the team's resilience and ability to secure victories even in challenging circumstances. He highlighted the importance of the win and the team's focus on their upcoming game against Philadelphia.
