A community engagement director within the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office has been placed on administrative leave following the emergence of past comments praising Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and perpetuating antisemitic stereotypes. True-See Allah’s remarks, unearthed from a 2016 podcast interview, have drawn sharp criticism and calls for his dismissal.
StopAntisemitism Executive Director Liora Rez expressed concern over Allah's hiring and urged his immediate removal, stating, "We'd like to understand how someone with these views was employed in the first place. The DA must remove him from his position." Rez emphasized the gravity of the situation, given Allah's role as a public face of equal justice.

In the 2016 interview, Allah recounted a story involving a former mentor, Don Muhammad, introducing him to a Jewish man who facilitated his employment at Reebok. Allah’s description of the man as “a Jewish guy that’s got short arms and deep pockets” invoked a harmful stereotype, further fueling the controversy.
The Suffolk County DA’s office confirmed that a review is underway. Spokesperson James Borghesani stated, "Consistent with our zero-tolerance policy for prejudice against any group, we are reviewing the information regarding Mr. Allah's alleged statements. He is on administrative leave during this review."

Further scrutiny of Allah’s social media reveals a history of admiration for Farrakhan, whom the Anti-Defamation League has identified as a prominent antisemitic figure. A 2020 Facebook post shows a picture of Allah with Farrakhan, captioned "Undisputed Champion for all of humanity." This, coupled with Allah's defense of Farrakhan's reputation in a separate interview, raises serious concerns about his biases.

District Attorney Kevin Hayden recently met with the Boston Jewish community, initially stating he did not intend to remove Allah, claiming he had never heard Allah express such views. Attendee Sassan Zilkha reported that Hayden emphasized his accountability for his staff’s actions and his intolerance for prejudice. Rabbi Jonah Steinberg, ADL New England Regional Director, deemed the administrative leave "appropriate" and stressed the DA’s responsibility to assure the community of his commitment to combating prejudice.

Rez argues that Allah's public admiration for Farrakhan inextricably links his beliefs to Farrakhan’s, making his continued employment untenable. She drew a parallel to hypothetical support for a known white supremacist figure, underscoring the severity of the issue.
The Suffolk County DA’s office has not responded to requests for comment regarding calls for Allah's termination.
