A youth soccer coach in Franklin, Tennessee, accused of drugging and raping multiple children, allegedly entered the United States illegally, according to a law enforcement source. Camilo Hurtado Campos, 63, was arrested after restaurant employees discovered disturbing photos and videos on his phone, which he had left behind. The Franklin Police Department reported that the content depicted Campos sexually assaulting unconscious boys between the ages of 9 and 17.

Investigators believe Campos, who has resided in Franklin for two decades, frequented local playgrounds to recruit players for his team. He allegedly gained the children's trust before inviting them to his home, where the assaults are believed to have occurred. Police suspect the victims were unconscious and may be unaware of the abuse. Authorities have identified two victims so far, but believe there may be at least 10 based on the evidence retrieved from Campos's phone. An ICE detainer was issued for Campos on July 10th, one day after his arrest. He faces initial charges of two counts of child rape.
