Created: JANUARY 20, 2025

A chilling incident unfolded in Nash, Texas, where an 18-year-old, Cesar Olalde, stands accused of murdering his entire family. Olalde allegedly shot his mother, Aida Garcia, his father, Reuben Olalde, his older sister, Lisbet Olalde, and his 5-year-old brother, Oliver Olalde. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered the bodies of all four victims, seemingly having been shot in various locations within the residence and subsequently moved to the bathroom. The scene indicated a violent struggle, with spent cartridge casings and blood spatter found throughout the home.

The disturbing narrative took a further twist when a colleague of Lisbet, concerned about her absence from work, attempted to check on her at the Olalde residence. This individual encountered Olalde, who reportedly brandished a firearm and threatened them before they managed to escape. According to this witness, Olalde confessed to the killings, claiming that his family were cannibals and intended to consume him. This claim formed a central part of the affidavit obtained by the New York Post.

During the subsequent standoff with police, Olalde reportedly reiterated his confession. He is currently in custody, facing capital murder charges, with bail set at $10 million. The investigation is ongoing.
