An 11-year-old girl tragically lost her life after vanishing near her school in France. The young girl, identified as Louise, was reported missing Friday afternoon after leaving André Maurois middle school in Épinay-sur-Orge, a commune south of Paris. Authorities initiated an extensive search involving tracking dogs, aerial support from helicopters and drones, ultimately locating her body in a nearby wooded area.

The discovery of Louise's body sent shockwaves through the community. A post-mortem examination revealed the presence of multiple wounds inflicted by a sharp object, leading investigators to classify the case as a homicide. While a murder weapon remains elusive, authorities are diligently pursuing all leads.

Initially, a 23-year-old man and his 20-year-old girlfriend were questioned due to their presence in security footage showing them walking behind Louise. However, they were subsequently released. In a later development, a different 23-year-old man and his 55-year-old mother were taken into custody. The younger individual is suspected of involvement in Louise's death, while his mother faces accusations related to withholding information about the crime. French Minister of Education Élisabeth Borne expressed her condolences and called for a thorough investigation to bring those responsible to justice.

The investigation into this heartbreaking incident is ongoing.
