Former girlfriend of the Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion suspect, Matthew Livelsberger, has reportedly provided the FBI with text messages she received from him just days before the New Year's Day incident outside the Trump hotel. Alicia Arritt, who dated Livelsberger from 2018 to 2021, told The Denver Gazette that she found it unusual when he contacted her three days prior to the explosion. Their relationship ended in 2021, and both had moved on with their lives.
Arritt described Livelsberger as a kind and generous person, highlighting his support during a difficult period in her life. She expressed shock and disbelief at the events that unfolded, stating that she had no knowledge of his plans.

The FBI contacted Arritt on New Year's Day and again the following Thursday, seeking information related to Livelsberger's communications. She shared messages where Livelsberger boasted about renting a gold Cybertruck, comparing it to his childhood Kobe 2 shoes and expressing a feeling of empowerment. Arritt maintained that she was unaware of any intentions Livelsberger had regarding the explosion.
Arritt portrayed Livelsberger as a patriotic and politically conservative individual, aligning with reports from his family about his support for Trump. She also revealed his military background, noting his service as a paratrooper and subsequent back surgeries, as well as a traumatic brain injury sustained during a Middle East tour in 2019. Arritt believes this injury led to untreated depression and isolation.

The couple's breakup was partly attributed to Livelsberger's desire to prioritize his career. Arritt was reportedly distraught when she learned about investigators identifying Livelsberger through a World War I plane tattoo. She expressed feelings of helplessness, questioning whether she could have intervened.
Arritt's background as an Army nurse in Germany further adds to the complexity of the situation. Livelsberger's extensive military career, spanning 19 years as a Green Beret with deployments at Fort Carson and in Germany, also came to light.

Information about Livelsberger's second marriage and subsequent separation six days before the attack has also emerged. His second wife, Jennifer Davis, reportedly accused him of infidelity around the time of their daughter's birth, leading to a dispute and his departure from their home shortly before the incident.
