Early Friday morning in South Carolina, former NFL player Robert Quinn was arrested following an alleged hit-and-run incident involving several vehicles. Around 2 a.m., law enforcement in North Charleston took Quinn into custody after he reportedly attempted to leave the scene of an accident he allegedly caused.

Jail records indicate the 34-year-old Quinn was booked into the Charleston County Jail on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving. The incident reportedly occurred at a car dealership. The North Charleston Fire Department, first on the scene, informed police that the suspect, later identified as Quinn, appeared to be attempting to depart in another vehicle.

Reports suggest Quinn's pickup truck collided with a car, triggering a chain reaction involving two other vehicles. Video evidence apparently shows Quinn's truck swerving before entering the dealership property.

Quinn reportedly exhibited facial injuries and slurred speech. He also allegedly displayed uncooperative behavior with law enforcement and had to be removed from the vehicle before his arrest.

This incident follows a similar arrest in August 2023, where Quinn was accused of hitting four cars and fleeing the scene. Quinn, a first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, played most of his career with the Rams. He also played for the Dolphins, Cowboys, Bears, and Eagles, reaching the Super Bowl in 2023. His last NFL season was in 2022.
