In Spring Hill, Florida, a 23-year-old woman named Megan Lynn Mileskiewicz was arrested on Sunday, December 29, 2024, and charged with animal cruelty and resisting arrest after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend's two-year-old pit bull multiple times. Hernando County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call around 10:45 a.m. reporting the incident. Upon arrival, Mileskiewicz had fled, but witnesses indicated she exited through the back of the house. A short search located her hiding behind a shed in the backyard.
