The New York Jets, initially hesitant about appearing on HBO's "Hard Knocks," seem to be changing their tune as the cameras roll during training camp. Once resistant to the idea, the team, including head coach Robert Saleh and quarterback Aaron Rodgers, are showing signs of acceptance, even enthusiasm.
Saleh, who just a month ago stated the Jets weren't interested in participating, was recently spotted wearing a shirt proclaiming his newfound affection for the show. His post-practice comments reflected a more cooperative stance, suggesting that conversations with the "Hard Knocks" crew had addressed the team's concerns.
Rodgers, too, has shifted from expressing his displeasure at having the show "forced down our throats" to sharing his excitement for fans to get an inside look at the team. He's now looking forward to the opportunity to showcase the team's dynamics and preparations.
While the Jets reportedly negotiated some limitations on HBO's access, particularly regarding player releases, the show will undoubtedly offer a glimpse into the team's training camp. The premiere is set for August 8th, promising an intriguing look at the Jets' journey, regardless of their initial reluctance.
