According to a witness who shared his account on YouTube under the username Alien Society51, he and his brother were working on a car when they witnessed a bright light descending rapidly. Following a loud bang and a shockwave, the witness claimed to have seen two large figures, described as eight to ten feet tall with large, shiny eyes and mouths, in his backyard. The witness stated that the beings were "not human" and that he felt momentarily paralyzed while making eye contact with one of them.

A Las Vegas police officer's bodycam footage, timestamped April 30, 11:50 p.m., captured a green light streaking across the night sky, seemingly corroborating the witness's account of a falling object. The American Meteor Society received reports of the same phenomenon from at least 21 individuals across Nevada, California, Arizona, and Utah.
