A 42-year-old man from Macomb County, Michigan, is facing serious charges, including second-degree murder, after allegedly shooting and killing his brother. McKinley Hearon was arraigned on Tuesday following the June 15th incident at their Eastpointe residence. The charges also include evidence tampering, providing false information to law enforcement, and a felony firearms offense.

Authorities contend that an argument between Hearon and his brother escalated, resulting in the shooting. Initially, Hearon reportedly denied his brother's presence at the home when questioned by police. However, investigators subsequently discovered the victim's body behind the residence. Hearon is currently in custody, with bail set at $2 million. It's not yet known whether he has secured legal representation.
