A 26-year-old woman, Miriam Badillo, is facing manslaughter and aggravated assault charges following a deadly collision in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night near the intersection of 3500 West Grand Avenue. According to the Phoenix Police Department, Badillo's vehicle veered onto the raised curb, striking three adult male pedestrians. One man tragically died at the scene, while the other two were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Badillo remained at the scene and was subsequently taken into custody. Investigators determined she was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims. The investigation is ongoing, and Phoenix police encourage anyone with information to come forward.
