Actor Richard Gere, known for films like "Pretty Woman" and "Runaway Bride," has relocated to Spain with his wife, Alejandra Silva, and their two young sons. The family made the move to Silva's native country last year, and Gere reports they are thriving in their new environment.

In a recent interview with Elle España, the 75-year-old actor expressed his joy, stating that his happiness stems from his wife's contentment in her homeland. Silva, 41, describes herself and Gere as "soulmates," sharing similar values and a worldview that connected them instantly.

The couple, who married in 2018, first met over a decade ago during their respective divorces. They are currently collaborating on the Sierra a Mar project, an environmental and sustainability initiative focused on the coast of Jalisco, Mexico. Silva emphasized the project's aim to empower communities and foster their growth through opportunity.

Gere highlighted the project's dedication to environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of restoring ecosystems and oceans. He also praised his wife's radiant personality and generous spirit. In addition to their two shared children, Gere has a son from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, and Silva has a son from a prior relationship.

Both Gere and Silva are passionate activists, a shared value that deepened their connection. They are actively involved with the NGO Hogar Sí in Madrid, aiming to combat homelessness in the city. Silva expressed their hope to significantly reduce street homelessness within the next five years.
