They are currently collaborating on the Sierra a Mar project, an environmental and sustainability initiative focused on the coast of Jalisco, Mexico. Silva emphasized the project's aim to empower communities and foster their growth through opportunity.

Gere highlighted the project's dedication to environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of restoring ecosystems and oceans. He also praised his wife's radiant personality and generous spirit. In addition to their two shared children, Gere has a son from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, and Silva has a son from a prior relationship.
