Singapore's Gardens by the Bay transforms into a festive wonderland each year, and the 2024 Christmas Wonderland is no exception. This 11th edition promises a breathtaking display of lights, music, and holiday cheer, running until January 1, 2025.
One of the highlights is the magnificent Spalliera, a towering light structure reaching over 65 feet high. Inspired by the Orvieto Cathedral in Umbria, Italy, this year's Spalliera is a handcrafted masterpiece by artisans from Puglia, Italy. Visitors can marvel at its intricate design while experiencing "Blizzard Time," a simulated snowfall accompanied by the enchanting "Magic of Christmas" composition by Singaporean composer Dr. Darius Lim.
Beyond the Spalliera, a 164-foot-long tunnel of lights awaits, along with numerous photo opportunities with giant light-up ornaments, ice skates, and gift boxes. Families can enjoy a variety of carnival rides and games, meet Santa Claus, and indulge in diverse dining options. Live performances add to the festive atmosphere, making Christmas Wonderland an unforgettable experience for all ages.
