Former President Donald Trump has signaled his intention to enact a significant number of executive orders – potentially nearing 100 – upon his return to the presidency. This information comes from senators and various reports following a meeting between Trump and Senate Republicans.
Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) confirmed on Fox & Friends that Trump discussed issuing approximately 100 executive orders to address key issues like border security and American energy independence. Other senators have echoed this figure, with some slight variations in the estimated number.

Reports suggest that these executive orders, some of which were previewed to senators, will cover a wide range of topics, including border security and immigration, with Stephen Miller playing a key role in their implementation.

While executive orders allow Trump to quickly advance his agenda, Republican lawmakers, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, have also expressed their commitment to working with him on legislative priorities.

Trump has criticized President Biden's policies and indicated his intent to quickly reverse certain executive orders upon returning to office.
