In a decisive victory that secured their playoff berth, the Denver Broncos routed the Kansas City Chiefs' reserves 38-0 on Sunday. With the Chiefs resting their starters, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the Broncos capitalized on the opportunity to claim the AFC's seventh seed.

Bo Nix led the Broncos' offensive charge, throwing for four touchdowns and 321 yards. His performance began early, connecting with Marvin Mims Jr. for a 32-yard touchdown on a screen play in the first quarter. Nix continued to find his receivers, throwing two more touchdown passes to Courtland Sutton and Devaughn Vele, extending the Broncos' lead to 21-0.

The Chiefs, with Carson Wentz at quarterback, struggled to generate offense against the Broncos' defense. Their drives stalled repeatedly, resulting in punts, a missed field goal, and a turnover on downs.

Nix added another touchdown pass to Mims in the second half, and Audric Estime capped off the scoring with a one-yard touchdown run. The Broncos' victory sent the home crowd into a frenzy, celebrating their team's playoff-clinching performance.
