The Philadelphia Eagles secured their spot in the Divisional Round of the playoffs with a convincing 22-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Sunday night's wild card matchup. They now await the outcome of the Washington Commanders-Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams-Minnesota Vikings games to determine their next opponent.
The game began with a disastrous start for Green Bay. Keisean Nixon fumbled the opening kickoff after a hit by Oren Burks, giving the Eagles possession at the Packers' 28-yard line. Just three plays later, Jalen Hurts, returning after missing the last two games due to concussion protocol, connected with Jahan Dotson for an early touchdown.

Philadelphia's offense added a field goal in the first quarter, but otherwise remained quiet in the first half. Meanwhile, the Packers struggled to find any offensive momentum. Jordan Love threw two interceptions in the first half, and Brandon McManus missed a field goal, adding to Green Bay's woes.
The Packers managed a field goal to open the second half, but the Eagles responded quickly with a Dallas Goedert touchdown, extending their lead to 16-3. Goedert's impressive catch-and-run featured multiple stiff arms to evade tacklers.

Josh Jacobs then powered his way through the Eagles' defense for a Packers touchdown, narrowing the gap to 16-10. However, the Eagles maintained their composure, adding two more field goals and forcing two more turnovers, including Love's third interception, to seal the victory.
Hurts finished the game 13-for-21 for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Saquon Barkley led all rushers with 119 yards on 25 carries. DeVonta Smith was the game's leading receiver with four catches for 55 yards.

Love completed 20 of 33 passes for 212 yards and three interceptions. Jacobs rushed for 81 yards on 18 carries. The Packers suffered injuries to receivers Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs, and center Josh Myers was also carted off the field.
