Indianapolis Hair Salon Owner Killed in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Tragedy struck an Indianapolis hair salon early Sunday morning when the owner was shot and killed in an apparent murder-suicide. According to reports, a gathering was taking place inside the New Look Hair Salon when the owner's ex-boyfriend opened fire, ultimately taking his own life as well.

Police responded to reports of gunshots at the salon located in a strip mall on E. Washington St. around 3:30 a.m. Inside, they found both the salon owner and the shooter deceased. Witnesses indicated that a group of people had been inside the closed salon prior to the incident. Investigators believe the ex-boyfriend's motive stemmed from jealousy over the owner's new relationship and the success of her recently opened business.
