Fresh off his 60-meter victory at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles didn't waste any time reigniting his rivalry with Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Lyles' winning time of 6.52 seconds edged out competitors from the Bahamas, Italy, and fellow Americans. His post-race celebration involved turning his bib to face the camera, revealing a pointed message: "Tyreek could never."

Lyles further elaborated on his challenge to Hill in an interview, emphasizing Hill's now-concluded football season leaves him with "no excuse" to avoid a race. He reiterated his standing invitation, stating, "When you’re ready to actually put some words down, and you’re actually ready to race, see me. I’m right here. I ain’t going nowhere."

Hill's response on social media was concise: "Get a load of this guy." This latest exchange follows a previous challenge issued by Hill in August after Lyles' 100-meter gold medal win at the Olympics. At that time, Lyles declined to wager his medal, even if Hill put his Super Bowl ring on the line.

Adding fuel to the fire, Hill's Dolphins teammate, Raheem Mostert, previously expressed confidence in his team's ability to compete with Lyles in a sprint, suggesting that "we all could run with him." He referenced Lyles' previous challenge to Hill and asserted their collective ability to handle a 60-yard dash.
