Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently revealed he was present near the scene of Tupac Shakur's fatal shooting in Las Vegas in 1996. A resurfaced video clip shows Mayweather recounting the incident to friends, indicating the proximity of his then-residence to the shooting location. This revelation coincides with renewed activity in the unsolved case, with Las Vegas police recently executing a search warrant at a Henderson, Nevada home linked to Duane "Keffe D" Davis, uncle of a former suspect.

Mayweather's account provides a firsthand glimpse into the aftermath of the drive-by shooting that claimed the life of the iconic rapper. While Mayweather's presence doesn't solve the mystery, it adds another layer to the ongoing investigation.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's search warrant yielded several items, including electronic devices, documents, photographs, ammunition, and a copy of Davis's memoir. Davis has previously implicated his nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, in Shakur's murder, though Anderson consistently denied involvement before his death in 1998.

The shooting occurred after Shakur attended a Mike Tyson boxing match. Earlier that evening, Shakur and his entourage had a confrontation with Anderson in a hotel lobby, following a previous altercation between Anderson and a Death Row Records affiliate. The connection between these events and the subsequent shooting remains a focus of the investigation.

Despite the passage of time, the investigation into Tupac Shakur's murder continues. The recent search and Mayweather's account offer potential new leads in the pursuit of justice for the late rapper.
