Ohio State's McMahon Makes Controversial Gesture Towards Maryland Fans

Created: JANUARY 05, 2025

During a heated game between Ohio State and Maryland, Buckeyes basketball player Cotie McMahon was observed making an inappropriate gesture towards Terrapins fans. While seated on the bench, McMahon directed two middle fingers across the court before returning her attention to the game. The reason behind this action remains unclear, although it occurred shortly after McMahon fouled out of the game. Some reports suggest Maryland students were taunting her with a song typically sung when an opposing player fouls out.
