The Psychotic Generation: How Climate Alarmism is Terrorizing Our Kids

Created: JANUARY 21, 2025

Our education system seems to be failing miserably at teaching fundamental skills like reading and math, yet it's remarkably effective at instilling climate change anxieties in our youth. When I engage with students, their primary concern isn't China's growing influence, the drug crisis, failing schools, government corruption, or the escalating national debt. Instead, they're overwhelmingly preoccupied with climate change.

Climate Protesters

A Daily Telegraph poll revealed that over half of the teenagers surveyed believe the world might end in their lifetime due to climate change. It's as if they've never learned about the Earth's continuous climate fluctuations throughout history, including ice ages and periods of warming long before modern conveniences.

I'm not disputing the existence of climate change, but the silencing of dissenting voices raises concerns. Those who once warned us about overpopulation, nuclear winter, and global cooling are now advocating for a multi-trillion-dollar climate change industry centered around windmills. While the debate continues, the fear-mongering tactics used to indoctrinate our children are deeply troubling.

This constant barrage of alarming information is contributing to a rise in teen depression, suicide rates, decreased productivity, and drug addiction. It's also fueling a significant decline in birth rates, as young people question the viability of bringing children into a world perceived as doomed. This phenomenon, known as "eco-anxiety," is a crippling fear of impending environmental catastrophe.

Ironically, today's youth enjoy a higher standard of living, a cleaner environment, and access to advanced technologies and healthcare than any previous generation. They should consider the hardships faced by those who lived through plagues, world wars, or grueling labor conditions. If previous generations are considered the "greatest generation," the current one might be labeled the "psychotic generation" due to this pervasive anxiety.

We, as parents, bear responsibility for allowing this indoctrination to occur. We've stood idly by as the left has instilled these anxieties in our children. We must challenge this narrative and remind them of the progress we've made and the resilience of the human spirit.
