Actor Bradley Cooper recently provided a glimpse into his personal life, discussing fatherhood, his journey with sobriety, and even a wild culinary experience. During an episode of National Geographic’s "Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge," Cooper explored the Wyoming Basin with adventurer Bear Grylls, facing challenging terrains and opening up about his hopes for raising his daughter, Lea, whom he shares with ex Irina Shayk.
Cooper emphasized his commitment to personal growth, aiming to "unburden" his daughter from his own past mistakes. He stressed that this commitment is not only for Lea's benefit but also integral to his own self-improvement. He believes this approach makes "life much better."

The actor also candidly discussed his 19 years of sobriety and how it has influenced his career, particularly his portrayal of characters struggling with addiction. He referenced his role as Jackson Maine in "A Star is Born," stating that his sobriety allowed him to fully immerse himself in the character. Cooper also spoke about his experience with fame following "The Hangover," noting he was already a decade into his career when the film's success hit, preventing him from getting "lost in fame."

Beyond the serious conversations, the show also featured a lighter moment where Cooper embraced the wilderness by trying a scavenged bear tongue, describing it as "fatty" and "pretty good."
