Greg Gutfeld isn't changing a thing as his late-night hit show, "Gutfeld!", gets a primetime slot at 10 p.m. ET starting July 17th on Fox News Channel. The move comes as part of a broader primetime lineup shuffle at the network.
Gutfeld has become a ratings powerhouse, with "Gutfeld!" achieving its most-watched year in 2022 and consistently outperforming other late-night programs. His success extends to "The Five," which he co-hosts, and which continues to dominate cable news ratings despite airing at 5 p.m. ET.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Gutfeld emphasized his intention to maintain the show's current format, stating, "Never mess with a formula that’s working." He addressed the importance of context for his humor, acknowledging that short clips on social media can sometimes misrepresent his jokes. He also touched on criticism he receives, noting that he rarely hears complaints directly. Gutfeld playfully suggested that being teased by him is a compliment.

When asked about comedic boundaries, Gutfeld remained elusive, saying he tries not to dwell on them. He also offered a pointed take on the concept of "punching down," suggesting it's only invoked when liberals or mainstream media are displeased. His dream guest? The surviving cast of "Facts of Life."
Regarding his ambitions for the show's new time slot, Gutfeld maintained his playful confidence, expressing his hope to "dominate the entire night, perhaps the world, and if possible, the universe." He still considers "Gutfeld!" a late-night show, even at its new primetime hour.

The new Fox News primetime lineup begins July 17th, with Laura Ingraham at 7 p.m. ET, Jesse Watters at 8 p.m. ET, Sean Hannity at 9 p.m. ET, followed by Gutfeld. Both Watters and Gutfeld will continue their roles on "The Five."
