The former UFC star, initially seen on friendly terms with the team, was reportedly in discussions to make his Tidl Sport pain relief spray the official partner of the franchise. However, these plans have been put on hold after two separate incidents involving McGregor during Game 4.

The first incident involved McGregor punching the Heat's mascot, Burnie, sending him to the hospital. While intended as a playful skit, the punch landed harder than anticipated, resulting in an embarrassing situation for both parties.

The second, and far more serious, incident involves allegations of sexual assault against McGregor by a woman who claims she was raped in a Kaseya Center bathroom. The woman's attorney alleges that her client was separated from her friends and forced into the bathroom where McGregor was waiting. McGregor vehemently denies these accusations, with his attorney labeling them a "shakedown."

TMZ released two videos related to the incident. One shows McGregor and the accuser interacting at a club after the game, while the other depicts McGregor leading the woman to the bathroom. McGregor's attorney argues that the videos support their version of events, while the accuser's attorney contends that the videos corroborate her client's claim of being led into the restroom.

These incidents have cast a dark cloud over McGregor's association with the Heat. An inside source revealed to Page Six that the organization is distancing itself from McGregor and the planned partnership, stating that it would be a constant reminder of the difficult situation. The Heat and the NBA are aware of the ongoing investigation.
