A Milwaukee man is facing charges after a dog fight escalated into violence, leaving one dog dead and its owner injured. The incident occurred Monday afternoon when the 32-year-old victim's dog got loose and became involved in an altercation with another canine. As the owner attempted to separate the animals, the other dog's owner, a 43-year-old Milwaukee resident, allegedly opened fire, striking both the man and his dog. The injured man received medical treatment at a local hospital, while his dog tragically succumbed to its injuries at the scene. The 43-year-old suspect was taken into custody, and charges are currently pending.
