Created: JANUARY 25, 2025

Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has announced a legislative package, dubbed the "DOGE Acts," designed to bolster the Department of Government Efficiency's (DOGE) cost-cutting goals. These initiatives align with the agency's framework spearheaded by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Blackburn shared her plans on X (formerly Twitter), outlining key components of the legislation. These include relocating federal agencies outside of Washington, D.C., implementing a one-year freeze on federal hiring and salaries, and mandating the return of federal employees to in-office work.
