Exactly one month after the tragic loss of his brother, Tiger Bech, in the New Orleans attack, TCU wide receiver Jack Bech achieved a remarkable victory in the Senior Bowl, catching the game-winning touchdown as time expired and earning MVP honors. A deeply emotional Jack attributed his performance to his late brother and his faith.

Tiger Bech, a former Princeton football player, was among the 14 victims of the New Year's Day tragedy on Bourbon Street. He had a successful collegiate career as an All-Ivy League kick returner, catching 53 passes for 825 yards and three touchdowns during his time at Princeton. After graduating in 2021, he pursued a career in finance, working as a stockbroker in New York City. He was back home in Louisiana for the holidays when the incident occurred.

While acknowledging the potential boost to his draft prospects, Jack expressed that his recent success pales in comparison to the loss of his brother. He shared that he would gladly sacrifice it all for another moment with Tiger. However, he also believes that his brother's memory played a crucial role in his performance.

Jack emphasized his brother's influence, describing him as his lifelong role model and expressing his commitment to honoring Tiger's legacy. Jack played for the winning American team, which secured a 22-19 victory.
