Prior to his Thanksgiving Day broadcasting debut, Tom Brady spent Wednesday evening enjoying a different sport. The former quarterback was seen at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the Mavericks' game against the New York Knicks.

Brady was observed interacting with Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd and others. He witnessed a dominant performance by Dallas, who defeated the Knicks 129-114, improving their record to 11-8 while New York dropped to 10-8.

Brady is scheduled to join Kevin Burkhardt in the broadcast booth for the Thanksgiving Day matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, airing on Fox at 4:30 p.m. ET. He expressed enthusiasm for calling the game despite it featuring the two lowest-ranked teams in the NFC East.

The Cowboys recently broke their losing streak with a dramatic victory over the Washington Commanders. The Giants, conversely, have suffered six consecutive losses, including a significant defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tommy DeVito's first start following Daniel Jones' departure.

Jones, now officially signed with the Minnesota Vikings, was released after a 2-8 start to the season. The Giants are looking ahead with DeVito's future uncertain due to a forearm injury. Drew Lock is the likely backup if DeVito is unable to play.

Brady acknowledges that his new career path sometimes requires time away from family, especially during holidays.

Reports indicate that Brady's ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, traveled to Costa Rica with their children, Benjamin and Vivian, accompanied by her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.
